This 2 day instructor-led course provides an overview of Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) features and detailed step-by-step procedures to install and configure HCP in a typical customer environment. The course covers storage provisioning, pre-installation procedures, and essential maintenance tasks for HCP. Hands-on lab activities cover installation and configuration of HCP systems, deploying HCP in VMware, performing software upgrades, and upgrading capacity for HCP S10 and S30. This course prepares you for the Hitachi Data Systems Qualified Professional — Content Platform Installation accreditation test (HQT4420). Depending on the location and course delivery format, this closed-book, proctored accreditation test may be offered and administered by the instructor at the conclusion of this course, using the Kryterion Webassessor system. It is also available at Kryterion testing centers.
