Overview

The Brocade SAN Advanced Administration and Design course covers the theory and practice of advanced Brocade SAN features such as fabric and port virtualization, site interconnection solutions based on FCIP tunnels, and FC-FC routing.

In addition, the training program includes storage network design issues focused on working through the fundamental elements of a SAN infrastructure.

Students will have the opportunity to test their knowledge on original Brocade Gen7 hardware during the lab, and the SAN design skills they gain will be of great help in implementing end-to-end SANs and planning SAN performance, resiliency, redundancy, and security.

For students of the B-SAN-001 course, the BSAN-exam “Brocade SAN Certified Architect” is included in the tuition fee.

Prerequisites for this course

  • Knowledge of the FC protocol stack
  • Experience with storage networks based on Brocade
  • Before training, we recommend listening to courses B-SAN-001
