Training Center
Unix Lab specializes in training in various areas of information technology, including certification of IT specialists in products and technologies of world IT market leaders.
The main activities of Unix Lab:
- training of IT specialists in author’s courses and authorized courses of partners
- testing and certification of IT specialists
- drawing up a training plan for specialists
- IT consulting
Training is conducted in various formats:
- Full-time training on the basis of the training center – possible in the daytime (from 10:00 to 18:00), in the evening
- (from 18:00 to 21:00) and blended learning
- Training on the basis of the customer – on-site training – the time of the conduct is discussed individually
- Distance learning in real time with the participation of the teacher – courses in the Live Virtual Class format
The training center has a technological platform where a data processing center (DPC) of the scale of a large organization is deployed. The possibility of using a powerful software and hardware complex in the educational process allows conducting unique courses on operating systems, hardware and software products.
Among the programs – a series of courses in the following areas:
- enterprise storage systems
- Linux/Solaris operating system
- cluster technologies
- data archiving and backup systems
- uninterrupted data copying systems
- cloud technologies
- Information Security
Particular attention is paid to complex information technologies, such as virtualization of information resources, cloud technologies, technologies for creating and upgrading data centers, etc.
A distinctive feature of Unix Lab is that teachers have vast practical experience in participating in real projects to create high-performance computing systems based on UNIX technologies.
The training programs provide familiarization with the latest samples of data storage systems. This allows you to combine training with a demonstration of the operation of real equipment and greatly increases the practical value of training.
