The course introduces students to storage technologies. The presented information covers the basics of data access, analysis of traditional and latest standards and immersion in modern tools for efficient use of disk array resources.
Students reinforce theoretical training by performing practical work on the equipment of one of the leading manufacturers of storage systems – Hitachi Vantara.
Studying the nuances of storage system performance, resource virtualization capabilities, as well as the peculiarities of using various types of drives will allow you to systematize your knowledge in these areas and use the acquired skills, including in matters of designing a data storage complex.
